In this picture I wanted to practice drawing a realistic animal.  I noticed that domesticated cats still tend to act like they are wild jungle creatures, so I titled this picture "Jungle Cat".  I found that drawing the cat only took a small fraction of my time.  Most of my time was spent drawing the "Jungle".   Later, I would use the cat portion of this picture to create a trueSpace 3D rendering (see "Jungle Cat (3D)", and "How the Cat in 'Jungle Cat' was Created").  I created this picture using a combination of watercolors and colored pencils.
